Don’t Americans care anymore about a quality theater-going experience and therefore are willing to spend their hard-earned money for useless, idiotic drivel like that?
Isn’t the theater-going public being duped by Hollywood who puts in big name stars like Travolta, Macy, Lawrence, Allen (and gives them a big payday) to attract an audience to a movie that is as forgettable as last night’s bad dream?

I saw Grindhouse opening weekend and afterwards i was sure it would be number one on monday but i was suprised to see it at fourth place. admittedly easter weekend isn’t the greatest time for an action flick, but Blades of Glory is doing ridiculously well, that is not to say its not an good movie in it’s own right but Grindhouse is Tarantino/Rodriguez!!

i think Appocalypto will do a lot better. hitting the $30 Million range easily. Blood Diamond will most deffinately hit the $20 Million range and could possibly make it to $30 Million. you never know…
